people went up in arms about this but somehow let slide the fact of the bill to defund planned parenthood, which means primarily MEN are putting their noses in your uterus..? Nothing wrong with breastfeeding. Holy shit… Let her have her fucking opinion,

I guess the reason for all this is the typical American egoism that make women believe that a baby should cause just as much work as having a pet. It is selfish and cruel to feed a baby solely on formula if the mother is capable of breastfeeding and she has no medical conditions because of which she should not breastfeed. It is all the egoistic fear of getting limp breasts.

Just because a super model said it, it doesn’t mean its going to become a law people! No need to get so upset about it!

I can’t believe people shat themselves over what Giselle Bunchen said. On the other had, her comment was ignorant and reeked of privilege (my mom went dry when I was six weeks old and fed me tuna instead…don’t ask), but on the other hand WHO GIVES A SHIT

I haven’t had this much fun seeing a group of otherwise intelligent women raise a major fuss over a woman describing a personal act of physical pleasure since Demi Moore posed nude in a magazine while she was pregnant. Three words, ladies: consider the source! Two more words: lighten up! What’s next? “From the people who brought you “Shut up and sing!” comes “Shut up and strut on French runways and cash those obscenely huge checks from your multi-million dollar modeling contract!”

Bwahahahahahahahaha! Seriously? They actually made a big deal out of THAT??? Amazing…*shakes head*

Erin is the best. The end was so hilarious.

@darksack Thumbs up, my good man. You can’t and shouldn’t force people to breast feed, but there are definite pros to it.

@thevampirefrog06
There are exceptions of course, a mother with HIV should not breast feed when having another options.
And the one mentioned in the video. Should be mandatory, of course, but, who’s to say, you’re a bad or a good mother for doing so… it’s their body

@scarlettestr
It’s like a lot a women being sexist… on TV.
July 10th, 2011 at 5:10 am
I can’t believe people are still complaining about target women. get over it for effs sake.
July 10th, 2011 at 6:05 am
It did offend me when everyone kept calling Giselle stupid. Well, It was more of the way they did it. It reminded me of “pretty girls should be seen not heard” mentality. I think that’s the only reason why these reporters made such a big deal out of it. I think M.L should’ have made fun of that. Anyway, great show.
July 10th, 2011 at 6:44 am
I can’t believe how much outrage her comments generated. As if there isn’t enough going on in the world, one woman’s admittedly silly remarks caused this much controversy. Who cares? Slow news week?

@ronharris You’re obviously a genius.

@manders1221 YOUR SHOW OF DISPLEASURE IS A BIT THWARTED BY YOUR INABILITY TO SPELL “YOU’RE.”
July 10th, 2011 at 9:08 am
OK OKbut Gisele isn’t the sharpest tool, like when she continuously announced on talk shows that she used to be called the Somalian for being so skinny. Smart politically correct people don’t say that…
July 10th, 2011 at 9:12 am
I like Erin! Yes, it’s different than Target Women…She has a different style and humor. No, she’s not Sarah, but she’s still funny!
July 10th, 2011 at 9:24 am
Why did everyone think Gisele was serious? Of course you can’t force women to breastfeed for 6 months. That being said, breastfeeding is indeed generally better than formula, because it gives the baby some of the mother’s antibodies, building up their immune system. That’s why they invented those pumps.
